KSS PSC to welcome new Q members
Kent Surrey Sussex Patient Safety Collaboriative (KSS PSC) is looking forward to meeting more than 100 new and existing Q members from Kent, Surrey and Sussex at its Welcome Event next Tuesday (September 26).
Delivered by the Health Foundation and supported and co-funded by NHS Improvement, Q is an initiative connecting people who have improvement expertise across the UK.
Over the course of the summer KSS PSC has worked with the Health Foundation to promote the opportunity to join Q in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Following a stringent application process we’re pleased to announce that 99 individuals were successful in their application.
The Welcome Event, at the Amex Stadium, Brighton, will give the new members the opportunity to meet each other and key staff from KSS PSC and the Health Foundation.
They will also have the chance to take part in two workshops, which will look at how to perform under pressure, and how you communicate can affect your personal impact.
Commenting on the Welcome Event, Sarah Leng, Programme Manager with KSS PSC who led the recruitment campaign, said:
“We had a great response to the recruitment campaign, and I’m looking forward to meeting our new Q members, finding out more about them, and to start thinking about how we are all going to work together across Kent, Surrey and Sussex.”
While opportunities to join Q have closed for 2017, they will be re-opening in Spring 2018. To find out more about Q, and to register your interest in joining, visit https://q.health.org.uk/join-q/
