Free on-line Course in Quality Improvement Methodologies
We are delighted to announce the launch of a free on-line Course in Quality Improvement Methodologies for healthcare staff and patient/carer partners across Kent Surrey Sussex.
This online foundation level course provides an introduction to Quality Improvement Methodologies as part of KSS PSCs work to develop Quality Improvement capability among healthcare staff and patient/carer partners.
This training course is provided free of charge and is available to all healthcare staff and patient/carer partners across KSS as well as others interested in supporting or delivering improvement.
As a foundation level module it is designed for people who would like an introduction to QI or as a basic refresher.
The course introduces the 'Model for Improvement' and some practical improvement tools such as PDSA cycles, followed by a short quiz at the end of each module.
It takes approximately two hours to complete and on completing all four modules a certificate can be printed off which can be used as evidence of CPD activity for personal or professional re-validation portfolios.
The Bronze Level QI Foundation Course can be accessed via the KSS AHSN website here.
This modular e-learning training is based on NHS Wales' highly tested and successful '1000 Lives Plus' Bronze Level training and is delivered across KSS AHSN in conjunction with the Yorkshire and Humber AHSN Improvement Academy.
